After Ramona welcomed members and guests, Eddie Conner (Click Here for Eddie's Website) provided an inspiring meditation to meet our higher self and begin to live a new story.  And a big thank you to Eddie for always taking such great notes for our blog.

The opening video was “You Have to Tell a New Story – Abraham”

Ramona asked the group “How’s your life going? Are your relationships fulfilling? How is that bank account looking? Do you love your work and feel good about your level of success? If you had a magic wand, what areas of your life would you change?”

What blocks us are outside forces. These outside forces are magnetized to us based on our internal vibrations. There’s always someone who seems to have an opinion about how you should behave. Abraham tells us to remember no matter where you are, right at the very moment, feel happy. You can’t stay on track between where you are and where you want to be if you are using those outside influences to guide you. The only guidance you need comes from Source.

Are there areas of your life that could use some tweaking? Great!  Just tell a new story about each of those areas. Starting right now tell the story of your life the way you want it to be. You want to tell an empowering story that works for you rather than against you.

Ramona provided an example of how she deals with sciatica. When the pain hits, her first instinct is to be upset and concentrate on the pain and discomfort.  Then she remembers what we all know – find something to feel good about, get out of the way and allow the cells to receive what they are asking for. That is the key to healing. Then she recites Abe’s words “My body knows what to do. Well-Being is natural to me. My Inner-Being is intricately aware of my physical body. My cells are asking for what they need in order to thrive, and Source Energy is answering those requests.”

We need to accept that there is a vibrational version of our story that is different from the version we practice most. They are not the same, and it is probably good they don’t coincide if we are not practicing clear thoughts. If your life isn’t going the way you want, it’s time to start hanging out with your future rather than your past.

We must learn to love ourselves. This will change our lives for the better. It will help us tweak our stories little by little which will result in gradual but meaningful shifts in our lives. Then start telling yourself your new story – the way you want your life to be. Let the old stories be a thing of the past and create a new story. The more you tell your new story, the more you will believe it.

We have billions of beings of intelligence within us. Cells that know what is best for themselves. As they find what’s best for themselves, it’s ultimately what’s best for you unless you are focused upon something unwanted and using that as your excuse to block the flow.

Realize that if we walk around verbalizing someone else’s old story we have made it our own. Thinking about how the Law of Attraction works brings us to the realization that everything you or anyone else is living, everything that is being lived by anyone, is in response to the story they are telling. Period!

Eddie has said that people who come to a Law of Attraction meetup are wanting to break away from their old story and create a new one. Now is the time to do just that.

How do we get rid of those old stories that no longer serve us?  Just stop telling them. Thank them for whatever purpose they served in the past. Then get rid of them, never to be thought of again. Sometimes visualizations help. Place them in a trunk, chain it closed like Houdini, and drop it in the ocean. Or write out the old story on paper, place it crumpled up in a dish, and burn it. Whatever your course of action, you must let go of the old story.

Here are some points of Abraham wisdom to help you create your new story.

You've got to stop talking about how things are if you don't like them and you've got to start talking about how you'd like things to be.

As you imagine and visualize and verbalize your new story, in time you will believe the new story, and when that happens, the evidence will flow swiftly into your experience.

Start telling a better-feeling story about the things that are important to you. Do not write your story like a factual documentary, weighing all the pros and cons of your experience, but instead tell the uplifting, fanciful, magical story of the wonder of your own life and watch what happens. It will feel like magic as your life begins to transform right before your eyes, but it is not by magic.

You can say things like: Only good things come to me... I'll figure it out as I go along... Every time you tell your BETTER_FEELING story, you will feel better, and the details of your life will improve. The better it gets, the better it gets.

There is no right or wrong way to tell your improved story. It can be about your past, present, or future experiences.

Start a notebook or Journal and call it "MY LIFE STORY" and you begin writing Chapter 1: My life story relative to Abundance, and you just fabricate a fabulous fairy tale that is pleasing to you. This is the new virtual me.  Abraham promises you, if you tell that story for just a little while, instead of the story you've been telling. As you begin telling the story differently, it is Abraham’s promise to you that the Universe will back your story up with evidence.

Begin telling the story of your desire. And then add to it the details of the positive aspects that you can find that match those desires. And then embellish your positive expectation by speculating with your good feeling. Wouldn't it be nice if...?

Telling many good-feeling short stories throughout your day will change your point of attraction. Just remember that the story you tell is the basis of your life. So tell it the way you want it to be. Try to hear the story the Source within you sees.

REMEMBER that you came forth to Live Happily Ever After.

Our closing video was Israel Kamakawiwo’ole singing Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World.

Abraham has this meditative paragraph to assist us in changing our frame of mind to the positive. “Everything I desire flows to me easily and joyfully. I make feeling good the most important thing and I am getting really good at keeping my vibration high by choosing thoughts that feel good. I am filled with appreciation, always looking for more to appreciate and enjoy. I love my life. I love myself. I love my family and friends. I’m a magnet for amazing prosperity, vibrant good health and loving relationships. I am a successful, confident, prosperous, loving, generous, happy person.”

Our next meeting will be September 1.

Some have asked for a link to David Minkin’s websites to buy tickets for his shows. It is www.DavidMinkin.com.
