CREATING THE MOOD FOR LOVE AND PROSPERITY

At the Sedona workshop, Abraham talked about creating and sustaining a good mood as the first order of business and the most important thing we can do to improve our lives. After Ramona greeted and welcomed new members and guests, Eddie Conner led the group through a guided meditation setting the mood for a wonderful discussion.

If you stop worrying about love and prosperity, how would your life change? The answer is, you’d have them. Some brainstorming ideas were: love yourself first; love yourself and the whole world will open up to us; Abraham is a big shift from classic male programs; as I lighten up and stay in a better feeling place, letting go of the contrast, then the love and prosperity flow in easily and joyously; when we play.

Who wants a love relationship? Tell us about the new love relationship you want to bring to yourself. Descriptions included more joy, more love, more happiness. How do we create more joy now?  Listen to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and spend more time doing the things you like to do; make yourself feel better through a body massage or foot massage; appreciate everything and enjoy the now.

What might be stopping us from enjoying love right now? Realize you deserve it right now; take baby steps into joyous appreciation so you can draw/attract love; when we wake up each morning, hit a reset button so we’re on a high flying disc (HFD) again; let go and get out of our own way; when you realize you are on a low flying disc, just decide you want to feel better and get yourself on an HFD; lighten up, loosen up and be in the flow; love what you do which is a form of attracting love; creativity and artistic expression can make you feel good which brings more love because whatever we put out we get back 1000%.

If there’s another person in your life, be sure to share your gratitude for everything they do for you which shows love, kindness, sincerity and appreciation for them and all they do. This creates an even exchange of energy.

Being in the moment and focusing on the small things helps us stay in alignment. Pay attention to improving yourself. When we better ourselves we better everyone and everything around us. If we believe in our dreams and stay grateful, the dreams, love and prosperity flow to us.

Letting go – When we let go of our guilt it opens the flood gates of love. When we let go of our old limiting beliefs, we spread our wings and fly high in to love and prosperity. Most of us put others first before ourselves. We are trained to believe we are selfish when we take care of our needs and desires before those of others.

Maray read a beautiful story about a 92 year old lady. Here it is.

Happiness is a Choice

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised, and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her hairfashionably coiffed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet curtains that had been hung on her window.

"I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.

"Mrs. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait."

"That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged... it's how I arrange my mind.

"I already decided to love it ... It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

"Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away ... just for this time in my life.

"Old age is like a bank account--you withdraw from it what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories.”

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

There is a great Abraham video entitled “Things are always working out for me”. It is worth watching.
