WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT?

Ramona welcomed members and guests and asked new members to introduce themselves.

Eddie Conner (Click Here for Eddie's Website) provided an inspiring meditation that allowed us to use our imaginations to think of ways our lives could be if we just think in positive terms of “What if?”  And a big thank you to Eddie for always taking such great notes for our blog.

Members shared their pure experiences based on LOA experiences from the past.

The opening video was “You can be do or have anything”

The evening’s topic was an exercise based on the book “What If It All Goes Right” by Mindy Audlin. The subject is similar to an Abraham-Hicks process or law they refer to as “Wouldn’t it be nice if…”

The author asks if we have areas in our lives where we feel stuck in a cycle that isn’t giving us the results we want. What if we saw those “stuck” areas from a new perspective?  She explains that this process helps us navigate the dark waters of our minds. The question “What if?” carries the power to create or to destroy. It can carry the key to inspiration, or it can be the birthplace of our greatest fears.  It is our choice.  Think of the possibilities if we transformed every complaint, challenge and heartache into inspiring possibilities for a better reality.

“What if” thoughts can move us in two directions – up or down. Humans often focus on the “What if” DOWN thoughts. What if I make a mistake? What if I fail?  Humans have a unique ability to focus on the negative. The good news is we can change our thoughts to focus on the positive by focusing on “What if” UP thoughts. These are fun, easy, what if it works, what if I can make it happen types of thoughts. What if” UP thoughts cause the initial idea to grow and thrive.

There are areas in our lives that tend to make us think “What if” DOWN thoughts. The first step is to identify these areas and start exploring “What if” UP thoughts instead. Directing our thoughts on possibilities that generate a sense of joy and excitement, the feelings are electromagnetic in nature and can be measured scientifically. Studies are starting to show that shifting our electromagnetic signature could, on a quantum level, influence our reality at an atomic level. That is a scientist’s way of saying that our thoughts can change our reality, and they do so by changing the atoms that comprise our physical bodies. Have you ever thought you not feeling well? The more you think it, the worse you feel, physically. That is our electromagnetic signature changing the atoms in our bodies.

Here are the basics of the process:

Step One - Identify a challenge of idea

Step Two – Take note of how you approach the idea or challenge. What are your first thoughts? Are you considering the worst case scenarios (What if DOWN) or are you seeking possibilities and taking inspired action (What if UP).

Step Three – What if UP!  Challenge yourself to mentally expand possibilities beyond what you believe to be possible.

Consider the following:

What if this is easy?
What if I really let myself have fun?
What if an idea comes that really changes my life?
What if I have a major breakthrough on this matter?
What if there are people out there who really want to help me?
Allow yourself to be ridiculous!!!

Ramona led an exercise called “The Black Dot Exercise”. Each person was given a page with a big black dot on it. Instructions are to use your imagination to see other things the black dot could be. Allow yourself to be ridiculous and imagine at least ten things the black dot could be. Be brave and bold. Have fun and think outside your current belief system. Was this exercise easy? Fun? Imaginative? Fluid? Light feeling? Did you notice that the more ideas you had, the easier they started coming?  Our imaginations are a mental muscle that when used more frequently the greater an asset it becomes for us.

There are (at least) three things that can make our lives more difficult. The author highlights these and calls them “Havoc Breaking Habits”.

One – Worry.  This is a common symptom of an imagination when it is not vibrating high, as on a High Flying Disc. It is allowing our imaginations to build a future that is the opposite of what we truly want.

Two – Preparing a worst case scenario plan.  What if you do not prepare for the worst case?  What if instead of developing a worst case scenario plan, you identify the fears that are popping up and create empowering alternatives for them?

Three – Bad Storytelling.  Drop the old story NOW! What if “upping” is vision therapy for the mind? In Abraham-Hicks terms, this would be called “Tell a New Story”. Imagination ignites good, new ideas.  It spits out the ideas; wisdom provides the feedback.

Ramona led a second exercise directing us to write down anything we would love to have happen. Make it fun. Be outrageous. Vibrate, think, radiate, and visualize way outside the box. Then volunteers stated their desires and the group offered the volunteer “What if” UP statements to raise the volunteer’s vibration and move them up Abraham’s Emotional Guidance Scale.  Closing, Ramona asked the group “does your vision for the future feel joyful or daunting?” If this exercise feels good, you are in the “What if” UP. Be sure to stay around “What if Up” people who are tuned in, tapped in and turned on!

The closing video was Johannachanneling Aretha Franklin!

Another great video of Johanna on Good Morning America can be viewed HERE

Our next meeting will be August 4, 2015.  What if you join us and feel ten times better than you did when you walked in? That is a promise!

Join us on Meetup.

TALKING YOURSELF OUT OF DOUBT INTO BELIEVING

Ramona welcomed members and guests and asked new members to introduce themselves.

Eddie Conner (Click Here for Eddie's Website) provided an inspiring meditation to connect us with our High Flying Discs.  And a big thank you to Eddie for always taking such great notes for our blog.

Members shared their pure experiences based on LOA experiences from the past.

Mike announced an increase in future meeting fees of $5 to cover increasing costs.

What is doubt?  It can be fear of the unknown, a feeling of unworthiness, lack of focus, or any contradiction of your energy. The brain does not know the difference between right or wrong until we teach it. We have conditioned ourselves with old habits of thought and we must raise our vibration and then create new habits of thought.

In reviewing the Emotional Scale (as defined by Abraham-Hicks) doubt is far down the list. We must raise our vibration and desire to keep our feelings high. Keeping our thoughts and feelings in the upper portion of the list is imperative to alignment with Source.

There are several things we can do to talk ourselves out of doubt. Going general about topics we have no resistance to such as a pet or nature will move us away from doubt.  A good tool is to fill in a focus wheel to stay connected to Source. There is a focus wheel app available for some smart phones http:/focuswheel.dk. Using a focus wheel can soften our negative thoughts until we feel better about our new perspective. Use a scripting technique and write “as if” our perfect day is already here. Any “what if” techniques should help. Sometimes merely “spacing out” in a good way will help identify old negative patterns that we can change using self-help techniques.

Always savor your highest intention and keep practicing it until it becomes your daily frequency. Get real with yourself in a beautiful way.  If we don’t own our issues, they will come to own us. Focus on our frequency of joy, passion, appreciation and adoration. Write regular gratitude lists for the joy of it. Gratitude is about pulling beauty from your daily life experiences. Be grateful for the life lessons you learn and your good will come back.

One exercise is to write your old beliefs followed by your new current beliefs, whether they have materialized or not. What is important is that they feel great to you.

When you are in a “funk” turn it around by saying, doing and giving love and kindness to others. Once you have raised your vibration out of the bottom third of the list, you can do some of the exercises mentioned previously to help you rise further. Additionally, you can list 100 things that feel like a match to your pure desires; pay loving attention to your belief that is under your existing thought; go general with your desires; don’t keep telling your story – create a new one; when you say something spot on that feels good, repeat it often.

Two people from our group individually volunteered to express their biggest doubt and have the group help them raise their thought patterns. Both were able to move from the middle echelon of the list (doubt is number 13 on the list) up to the highest echelon. The first was able to raise his feelings from doubt up to number 5 – optimism.  The second raised her feelings from doubt up to number 6 – hopefulness.

Ramona closed the meeting by encouraging members to see their present and future circumstances through the eyes of Source energy – in a loving way.

Next meeting will be June 23.

LOOKING FOR THE SIGNS THE UNIVERSE SENDS YOU

Ramona welcomed members and guests and asked new members to introduce themselves.

Eddie Conner (Click Here for Eddie's Website) provided an inspiring meditation as usual.  And a big thank you to Eddie for always taking such great notes for our blog.

Members shared their pure experiences based on LOA experiences from the past.

Mike announced a walking tour of Toluca Lake the next two Saturdays.

We celebrated the birthdays of two members present. It was a “magical moment”.

There was a discussion about Source, what it is, and how we are all a part of Source, never separated from it. We as humans can feel disconnected from Source when we feel negative emotion because Source energy serves as our inner guidance system.

The “Emotional Scale” was discussed.  It identifies 22 emotional feelings ranging from the deepest depression and despair up to joy, freedom and love. All of us are always somewhere on that scale. It is important to pay attention to how we are feeling (i.e. where we are on the emotional scale) because our feelings create 99.9% of our physical existence. In effect, where we are on the scale is the disc we are on; so identify where you are and move up to a higher flying disc.

Ramona showed a chart of the emotional scale and explained the different feelings so we can monitor our true feelings. When we are low on the scale our electromagnetic pull is weak for what we want. When we are high on the scale the pull is much stronger. Even though the electromagnetic pull is weak when we are low on the scale, it is still attracting stuff to us – it’s just more of what we don’t want. If you “get up on the wrong side of the bed” and don’t do something to improve your emotional feeling, your day won’t get better.

Signs.  We all get signs. We just need to recognize them.

Ramona shared her experience seeing Mike right after his operation in 2012. She showed photos of him so weak he couldn’t lift his head. He was in tremendous pain and the doctors did not know what was causing it. It was hard on her so she moved her feelings up the emotional scale by looking at a happier photo of the two of them on their beach on Lake Michigan. This caused a nurse practitioner to be inspired and figure out what was causing the pain even when the doctors couldn’t.

Other members shared their experience of seeing signs from the Universe.
  • One finds beautiful feathers (Eagle, Owl, Hawk, etc.) that tell her she is on the right path.

  • Another sees Egrets in the most unusual places.

  • One lady shared that she looks for signs when deciding whether to date a guy. She met a fellow who gave her his card. His name was Bob Goode, a sign to her he might be “good” to date. The relationship is in its tenth year.

  • A fellow and his mom’s good friend visited his mom’s gravesite. The two of them noticed the gravestone next to his mom’s was “Helen Goodfriend”.

  • Another was contemplating a big decision when a bus passed by with a big sign that read “Be Unstoppable”.

  • A member whose father has passed shared that while driving on the 10 freeway at night, a giant Egret on the side of the road was a sign to her that her father was with her and protecting her.

  • Another asked her departed grandmother to protect her parents as they drove across country. At that moment a flashlight turned on with no one near it and shone a light on her parents’ wedding album.

  • Ramona shared a story Ester tells about a light in her home that would not turn off. She had an electrician fix it, and that night another light came on by itself. She asked “Jerry, what are you doing?” (Jerry had passed a few years earlier). The next day she got in her car and the song on the radio was “Leave the Light On”.
  • Whenever another member looks at a clock and sees the time as something like 11:11, or 3:33, or 2:22, she sees this as a sign of synchronicity. They are reminders to put herself first.

  • Another lady walked into a networking event and felt as though she was invisible because nobody paid any attention to her. She recomposed herself and went into one corner of the room where she met several people who were exactly the type of people who can help her get to the next level in her profession.

  •  Mike shared that when his father was close to passing they had a conversation about what was next. Mike assured his father he would be fine. After his father’s passing, Mike woke up at exactly 4:19 every morning several times over the next few months. Mike’s dad lived and died at 419 University Ave. Mike took this as a sign from his father that he was alright.

  • A lady whose husband has passed sees street lights turn off when she parks under them. It is a sign from her husband that he is still with her. She refers to him as the dearly not departed!

There was a question about the term “Non-resistance”. When we feel non-resistance it means we are still in a pure positive feeling place on the emotional scale. We are not getting in our own way. We are in a state of allowing.

When dancing, we must let go and trust our partner. If we don’t, we have resistance. When we relax and allow, this is trusting the Universe. That places us in a powerfully feel-good place.  The Universe is leading us because we have let go. We trust; we have faith; we go with the flow; we are one with the vortex.

When we are resistant, we can’t see the forest for the trees. Have you ever lost something, gone crazy looking for it, know it is there somewhere, but can’t find it?  Resistance is what’s keeping us from finding it. As soon as we relax and move up the scale, most of the time we find it right where we looked. When facing resistance, flip the switch into thoughts that promote well-being like “this makes me happy”, and “I’m in the flow”.

A few final thoughts. The greatest gift we can give ourselves is to love ourselves first. Then remember to ask the Universe for signs. Be clear in and allow the Universe to deliver. It’s important to trust and have faith. And remember, what you think about is what you bring about.

The closing video was “Jessica’sDaily Affirmation”

Our next meeting will be May 5, 2015. See you then. In the meantime, use the emotional scale to determine where you are and move up to a higher flying disc.
