Inner Conflict - Who Me?



After Ramona asked the new members to introduce themselves, several members shared their “wins” since the last meeting. Then Mike showed a brief video of Ramona, Eddie and himself as dancing elves.

“Every time we self doubt we back ourselves up a thousand steps.”

We showed an Abraham video (it starts with a commercial – sorry!) Thinking, as choosing your thoughts followed by a discussion of where inner conflict comes from. Some examples are the media, ego, family history, and self doubt. When we feel negative emotion we are out of the vortex. The vortex is a feeling of joy, relief, fun as opposed to the dark heavy feelings we get when things “go wrong”. It’s where we want to be as much of the time as possible.

When we get upset we only cut ourselves off from our core essence, aka the vortex. Ramona used the example of having to place her mother-in-law in an assisted living facility and the trauma that ensued with her and certain family members. The experience took her out of the vortex. Later, while cleaning out her Mother-in-law’s dresser, she found her original wedding invitation from 1941. It shifted her from the heavy negative emotion, making her feel good and placing her back in the vortex.

Ramona asked how we feel when we have bad thoughts and where do they come from. The consensus was the thoughts eat at your gut. They disconnect us from source energy. A lot of the negatives come from our friends and acquaintances. Some people try to out- do the other with comments like, “If you think that’s bad, here’s what happened to me!”

Someone shared that negative “stuff” is often given to us by the Universe to teach us a lesson. Are they lessons? Or are they opportunities to learn from mistakes? When we keep hitting a wall with things that are important we have the opportunity to birth a new desire. And here are some of the tricks we can use to stay in alignment: Write down the opposite of the existing negative reality we are living; look at what’s going right; say “I appreciate…” and write down what is going right.

When encountering someone with whom you have a negative history, approach them as if there are no issues. Erase the old subject negativity and start all over with a fresh new perspective. Learn to pre-pave your next meeting with that person by stating  a new intention that realigns with our desires.

The What the Bleep video on the effects of intention on distilled water raises the question, “If our thoughts can do that to distilled water, imagine what they are doing to us.”

When Mike was diagnosed as having “the C word” (which he never used) he would explain as follows: “I am going to be OK; I have a tumor; it will be removed; and I will be OK.” He started and ended the explanation with being "OK”.

We can easily become addicted to our negative thoughts and emotions allowing them to become bad habits. We all have the devil and angel represented by our inner dialogue and inner conflict. We need to give more attention to our angels’ voices.

Unfortunately many of us have created the bad habit of wanting to hear the negative stories. Here are some things that were shared to counter the negatives:

Appreciate the good things. Meditate. Pre-pave things the way you want them to go. Find out what works for us. “In the fullness of time, more will be revealed in order to feel better at the time.” Find things that will shift our inner conflict. When you wake up in the morning, do not get out of bed until you can feel joy and bliss. Everybody has things to feel angry about: it takes true courage to feel grateful. Appreciate good customer service and soon you will receive GREAT customer service.

What inspired actions can we take in 2013:
Slow down. Say to yourself “I intend to feel good”. Be the change you want to see. Chant before you start your day. Feel good before you get out of bed. Say “I am in control and own it consistently.” Wake up with gratitude. Meditate first thing in the morning. Set your tone as “for the joy of it.” Do self-love affirmations. Drop the fear. Attend more Burbank Law of Attraction meet-ups.

Mastermind - What's On Your Mind?


GREETINGS:
The group welcomed new and former members. We opened the floor with an intention for the evening and members shared.

GUIDED MEDITATION:
Eddie opened with a lighthearted guided visualization to help members release their resistance.  

MEMBERS SHARED THEIR WINS FROM LAST MONTH:
A few people shared wonderful things they’ve accomplished since September’s meet up by using Abraham-Hicks philosophies.  Some of the manifestation stories included:

- Harper Collins publishers interested in putting in an offer for one of our authors.
- Member returned from the Far East doing a beautiful documentary series.
- Another member just returned from a trip to England, Wales and Scotland.
- Classic vocalist trained in Opera is cutting her first Jazz album.
- Tax Accountant shared how she coached her clients to use law of attraction principles with the IRS. As a result, $6000 in penalties and late fees were dismissed. 
 - Adopting a new, perfect little kitten into a family.

ABRAHAM-HICKS VIDEO:
Taken from AbrahamLive.com, this pod cast is focused on “Momentum.” (AbrahamLive.com videos are no longer available). For new members to our group Ramona explains how Ester Hicks channels the energy of Abraham.

SOMEONE WAS CONFUSED ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAKING AN INTENTION AND THE CLARITY OF ASKING FOR SOMETHING FROM THE UNIVERSE.

ANSWERS:
An Intention is something somebody plans to do or achieve. Having purpose. A decision is something that somebody chooses or makes up his or her mind about, after considering it and other possible choices.

The group encouraged her to keep intentions and decisions a little more general for now so that she doesn’t get bogged down in the specifics of “how” and “why.”

Make one small powerful decision at a time. If that outcome is not 100% of what you do want then you get to make another decision because now you’re clearer than you were before. Each decision builds upon itself, carrying the decision maker higher into a better feeling place.

Someone shared “Intention is not about the result.” Both intentions and decisions are set in motion mostly because we want to identify how we want to be feeling.

“How do I want to be feeling when I get to my desired outcome?” and, “How do I want to feel during my journey on the way to my desired end result?” Keeping the feelings general is most powerful because you want to essentially feel good, happy and ultimately you want to feel connected to you source.

You want your intention and decision to both line-up with each another. You can do this by asking for “The highest and best to come to you.”

These feel-good emotions married together with pure intention and powerful decision-making creates amazing and obvious shifts in our minds and realities and practicing this method consistently changes our lives for the better.

Oprah said, “The word intention changed my life because I realize that I must have a clear intention behind my ideas.” She told all of her producers that they must have a clear intention behind their segment ideas for her show.  As a result her team continued to dominate the ratings in the entertainment industry.

When asked how this member felt about the word, “Decision” she acknowledged that she didn’t like it much; that she didn’t like to make fast decisions. On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the best she says, “Decision making for me feels like a soft five.”

Because our decisions and sometimes our intentions are in the middle of the road energetically, we’ll attract to us a neutral, middle of the road outcome with subjects that are hugely important to us.

In essence, when our pure feelings are lined-up with clear intentions and powerful decisions we’re operating off a 3x stronger fuel than normal. The longer we hold this said energy the greater our results are. 

SOMEONE ASKED “WHEN YOU FEEL WORRIED AND OUT OF THE VORTEX – WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET BACK INTO THE VORTEX?”

Ramona talks about the times she got out of her vortex setting up for this meeting because  the screen was not available, the Wi-Fi was not working and the seating had to be rearranged because of it.  After stressing out over it Ramona says, “I had to finally just laugh about it and go with the flow. The second I did, everything came together and we’re having a great meeting.”

Another way to get back into the vortex is to turn Abraham CD’s up loud while doing housework and paperwork so that you can bask in the essence of the message. This elevates one’s thoughts to a better feeling place.

Carilyn shared the “All That’s Well With You,” message from the Abraham-Hicks workshop in Asheville, N.C. and the audience loved it.

I WANT TO BE AN ACTOR AND DIRECTOR BUT I’M WORKING A JOB I DON’T LIKE. I KNOW MY ACTION SHOULD MATCH MY DESIRED OUTCOME, BUT EVERY TIME... HOW DO YOU KEEP FROM PROCRASTINATING?

Procrastination only means you haven’t lined up your feelings yet. Procrastination is a form of resistance, but figure out what your beliefs are that are blocking you from your ultimate desires and don’t beat yourself up for dragging your feet. Remember, Abraham says when we’re putting something off it’s only because we haven’t lined up our energy to do it.

Someone shared her favorite money quote from Abraham and explained how she used it years ago when she was going through turbulent financial times. It’s simply, “Bring me dollars that will thrill me and support me.”

Appreciating your current job, whatever it might be is a great exercise because when we appreciate something our energy gets higher, faster and more pure. This pure frequency then magnetizes more of what we do want into our lives.

Someone suggested that appreciating our existing job is a great way to pull our dream jobs to us. Thanking our current workplace for helping pay the bills, for being a transition position and for giving us a place to practice staying connected to source consistently draws a better quality of life to us.

The group shared that our actions should match our feelings. An example of this would be the, “Whistle While You Work” song from Disney’s, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Regardless of what action-oriented task we’re doing, we should do what we can to lift our feelings while doing it. This is important because our action only creates .01% of our physical realities while our feelings create the other 99.99%.

A friend suggested that she doesn’t get caught up in the “goal setting” as much as she enjoys staying ramped up in the inspiration aspect of her goal.

Then there’s Abraham’s 17-second game. Another member refers to it as Miracle Math:
17 seconds of feeling good is = 2,000 action hours worth of labor expended.
34 seconds of feeling good is = 20,000 action hours worth of labor expended.
51 seconds of feeling good is = 200,000 action hours worth of labor expended.
68 seconds of feeling good is = 2,000,000 action hours worth of labor expended.

OTHER SIMPLE WAYS TO CREATE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE:
- We’re always attracting whether we know we are or not.
- Law of Attraction is about deliberately creating what you desire.
- The more pure energy you flow, the faster your manifestation can come to you.
- Doubt and fear is another form of resistance to your desires.
- It’s important to learn to joyously live in the moment and expect the best.

RAMONA CLOSED THE MEETING with the following story:
An anthropologist proposed a game to children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told the children that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits. When he told them to run, they all took each other's hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats.

When he asked them why they had run like that when one could have had all the fruits for himself, they said, "How can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?"

Resistance - Who Me?

A big thank you to Eddie for taking notes during our meetup.

There were two videos that we could not play due to internet issues. They are: Abraham-HicksGo General and Abraham-HicksLighten Up.

The group welcomed new and former members. New attendees shared how they learned about Mike and Ramona’s Meet Up gatherings and spoke about what they’d hope to get with the Law of Attraction in Action. We opened the floor with an intention for the evening, briefly discussed building changes and upcoming policies and members shared.

EddieConner opened with a lighthearted guided meditation to humorously empower members to release their resistance.  

WHAT IS RESISTANCE?  Members answered, it’s a manifestation of our fears and insecurities. It’s pain, disappointment and things that feel like rejection to us. It’s pushing back, reluctance to change, fear of the unknown because we don’t know what’s on “the other side”. We only know what we know. And, it’s ego.

Why do we keep going back to thoughts of resistance? It’s a habit. When we resist something it’s like we’re putting up fences to keep our desires out and our negative thoughts and things in our energy grids. We do it without realizing it. We are comfortable with where we are, so it’s like being on auto pilot. It becomes automatic. Maybe we are just lazy. We learned to do this since we were young and as adults we’re working to pull ourselves back into the stream of pure, positive energy. 

How can we end our resistant thoughts? As a group we took turns as offering suggestions to release our internal struggles. Some points were:
Keeping our intentions more general, more relaxed.
Make your desires fun and light so that you feel better about them.
Listen to music that lifts your spirit.
Be in the general flow of things you appreciate. “Go with the flow”.
Appreciate things just for the joy of it.

Ramona shared a story about how the Bentley is her favorite car. She had shared a similar story a few months earlier in this meet up and tonight, because of that story a member brought her a gorgeous cup engraved with the “Bentley” logo.

Because Ramona is in the vortex about her Bentley and because she continues filling her Grid with all things that feel like the luxurious Bentley energy, the universe keeps bringing her more things that look and feel like the frequency of her favorite automobile.

What other ways do members use to get out of resistance? We consciously become aware that our every thought, every feeling, every step and every breath is a joyous opportunity for us to shift from what we don’t want to what we do want.

Focus on all things that feel really good. Why? Because when we feel good our negative emotion and all things resistant melt away leaving us standing in our vortex. Look at the glass as half full. Count your blessings. Walking in nature and laughter are all great ways to release resistance.

A member helped the group understand the difference between the GRID and the VORTEX with suggestions.

If we stop caring about IF our desires work or come true, they will present themselves. Don’t picture how it will happen. Rather, immerse yourself in what you want.

Here is an appropriate Abraham quote: “How long does it take to manifest something?  It takes as long as it takes to release resistance. It could be 30 years, 40 years, or tomorrow!”

Members shared amazing stories of how they had resistance about heavy topics and then how they turned their thoughts and feelings around to get miraculous, even extraordinary outcomes.

Remember another Abraham quote “The sooner you start enjoying the difficulty, then the sooner it goes away. The sooner it serves you and then in the enjoyment of the difficulty there is not a vibrational frequency that can keep the difficulty coming. It’s only pain and suffering that keeps difficulty coming”.

Other simple ways to create happiness momentum are:
Drop “How?” from your vocabulary and from your mindset.
Think of resistance as a friend reminding you to clean up your thoughts.
Know that our first instincts are usually the right ones.
Follow your heart and trust your gut-brain.
Learn to let go of things that no longer serve us.
Life is easier when we choose to consciously appreciate things.
Remember, what you do is not who you are.
Act “as if” your desires are here now so that you attract the outcome you want.
Write your desired end result you want today so you attract it tomorrow.
The more pure our intention is the happier we are and the faster we attract.
You have to imagine the life you want
And fine-tune your desires on a daily basis, for the shear happiness of it.

Asking the Universe for More


GREETINGS
The group welcomed new and former members. New attendees shared their names, told us how they found out about Mike and Ramona’s Meet Up gatherings and spoke about what they’d hope to get via the Law of Attraction in Action.

We opened the floor with an intention for the evening, briefly discussed building changes and upcoming policies and members shared.

GUIDED MEDITATION
Eddie opened with a guided meditation designed to activate and illuminate each person’s heart center, solar plexus and mind.  

After the meditation the group shared their wins since the last Meet Up.

As a group we took turns as participants practiced staying in the their vortex while asking the universe for more things like financial freedom, happiness and well-being.  Lots of members shared their specific methods for staying in the vortex and then shared “feel good” grid building exercises.

A lot of us believe we’re really doing the work just because we know the right words to say and the right actions to do, but very soon we as spiritual beings get so rehearsed and complacent that we don’t realize we’re saying and doing the right things, but not Feeling the highest, purest emotions with our words and actions.

Because the universe only responds to our feelings and emotions, it’s important to go deep for the joy of it so that we feel fresh, alive and vivacious in our current desires. The more pure and rich our emotional frequencies the faster we attract and live what we Do Want.

When Eddie asked members to share one thing they wanted the Universe to bring them he encouraged them to tell the group ten things they would feel in their solar plexus when these single desire manifested itself.

The first 3 or 4 words they spoke were really easy, but searching for the true, emotional desires underneath their one desire got a little tougher. There were a couple of members that shared ten emotions they’d feel and set a great example for our wonderful group.

The fabulous Carilyn Davidson shared these grid-building words from the Abraham-Hicks workshop Los Angeles, July 14, 2012.  You can apply these feelings to any topic:

HOMEWORK:
The homework was to go home and write down 50 words that beautifully matched the essence of their true soul’s purpose. After writing them the assignment was to read them before going to sleep and rereading them the next morning before their feet hit the floor.

The objective is to do this every evening and each morning through the end of 2012 so they plant these feel-good seeds into their subconscious mind. This in turn is another great way to ask the Universe for more while also being in vibratory harmony to actually attracting it.
