Asking the Universe for More

GREETINGS
The group welcomed new and former members. New attendees shared their names, told us how they found out about Mike and Ramona’s Meet Up gatherings and spoke about what they’d hope to get via the Law of Attraction in Action.

ANNOUCEMENTS
We opened the floor with an intention for the evening, briefly discussed building changes and upcoming policies and members shared.

GUIDED MEDITATION
Eddie opened with a guided meditation designed to activate and illuminate each person’s heart center, solar plexus and mind.

After the meditation the group shared their wins since the last Meet Up.

As a group we took turns as participants practiced staying in the their vortex while asking the universe for more things like financial freedom, happiness and well-being.  Lots of members shared their specific methods for staying in the vortex and then shared “feel good” grid building exercises.

A FEW TECHNIQUES:
Feeling Good
Appreciation
Give Thanks
Seeing the Good Things in Life
Choosing to Feel Joyful
Humor and Laughter
Sincerity and Authenticity
Going Deeper by doing the Work

A lot of us believe we’re really doing the work just because we know the right words to say and the right actions to do, but very soon we as spiritual beings get so rehearsed and complacent that we don’t realize we’re saying and doing the right things, but not Feeling the highest, purest emotions with our words and actions.

Because the universe only responds to our feelings and emotions, it’s important to go deep for the joy of it so that we feel fresh, alive and vivacious in our current desires. The more pure and rich our emotional frequencies the faster we attract and live what we Do Want.

When Eddie asked members to share one thing they wanted the Universe to bring them he encouraged them to tell the group ten things they would feel in their solar plexus when these single desire manifested itself.

The first 3 or 4 words they spoke were really easy, but searching for the true, emotional desires underneath their one desire got a little tougher. There were a couple of members that shared ten emotions they’d feel and set a great example for our wonderful group.

The fabulous Carilyn Davidson shared these grid-building words from the Abraham-Hicks workshop Los Angeles, July 14, 2012.  You can apply these feelings to any topic:

I love the feeling of ease.
I love to feel at one.
I love ease in doing what I want.
I love feeling comfortable.
I love the feeling of security.
I love the feeling of being in the current flow.
I love the feeling of being real.
I love the feeling of being true.
I love the feeling of honesty.
I love the feeling of going deep.
I love the feeling of core essence.
I love the feeling of good.
I love the feeling of soft.
I love the feeling of sure.
I love the feeling of comfortable.
I love the feeling of love.
I love the feeling of adoring.
I love the feeling of confidence.
I love the feeling of knowing.
I love the feeling of feeling like home.
I love the feeling of expansiveness.
I love the feeling of enticing.
I love the feeling of vital.
I love the feeling of alive.
I love the feeling of feels like me.

HOMEWORK:
The homework was to go home and write down 50 words that beautifully matched the essence of their true soul’s purpose. After writing them the assignment was to read them before going to sleep and rereading them the next morning before their feet hit the floor.

The objective is to do this every evening and each morning through the end of 2012 so they plant these feel-good seeds into their subconscious mind. This in turn is another great way to ask the Universe for more while also being in vibratory harmony to actually attracting it.

BONUS POINTS:
Carilyn later wrote: “Here is the grid I wrote for my business.  The day I wrote this, my day became amazing.”

I love ease. I love easy.
I love feeling at one with my business.
I love feeling comfortable with all the things with my business.
I love the feeling of being comfortable with my business.
I love the feeling of security with my business.
I love the newness in who I am at my business.
I love the truth in who I am and what I do.
I love the feeling of soft flowing energy with my business.
I love how comfortable my business is.
I love how good my business feels.
I love how adoring my clients are.
I love how confident I am with what I do.
I love how my business feels like home.
I love how expansive my business is in where I'm going.
I love how enticing my business feels.
I love the feeling of being alive in my business.
I love how vital I feel in my business.
I love the knowing that my business feels like me.

Overcoming Self-Limiting Beliefs

The opening meditation was performed by Eddie Conner to release limited beliefs.

Mike and Ramona introduced themselves and welcomed new members.

Mike opened meeting with an Abraham Video The Story Source Wants to Tell.

Ramona asked the group, "What are some self limiting beliefs?"

The group answered with:
Lies we tell ourselves
Old stories that we still believe are true
Thoughts we have that don't feel good
Thoughts making us feel inadequate

Abraham says, "A belief is a thought that's rehearsed over and over and over again."

Ramona shared her old beliefs about the fear of public speaking. How she felt she didn't have anything of value to offer the group. How watching other speakers made her feel "not good enough" about her own abilities. The group then shared some of the areas where they had self limiting beliefs.

Self Limiting Beliefs start when we're young and over the years they've become deep, seeded subconscious beliefs. They are stories and thoughts we tell ourselves over and over until we manifest the reality of our invisible beliefs.

A member shared how she often sold herself short because of her personal fear-based beliefs about being of value, or having something to contribute to the entertainment industry. During a recent meeting with a high profile performer this member realized she'd been growing her self esteem little by little. After her meeting she took notes from her agent about how the meeting had gone and this time, instead of only hearing the negative things, the member easily remembered the great parts of the meeting and then did an Avalanche of Appreciation about just how great the meeting really was. This was a tipping point in that she was able to let go of the old limiting beliefs that previously held her down and now, replace them with new truths, new desires about what is working for her today, in the present moment.

Another member, Sue Elliott, Editor-in-Chief of Law of Attraction Magazine shared her experiences overcoming self-limiting beliefs while establishing her magazine. Be sure to check out the magazine's website and "Like" it on Facebook.
Mike shared pictures of a Bentley and Tiffany boxes with the group.
Ramona asked, "What are some of the beliefs that pop into your mind when you see these extravagant things?"

Some people said, "Can't afford it. Those things are out of reach for me and hard to get."  Others said, "I appreciate how beautiful the car and jewelry are. It'd feel great to drive the Bentley," and "I can see myself in that picture of abundance."  The group talked about how they'd bridged their old limiting beliefs with feel good beliefs about these topics.

Mike then shared a picture of, Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg and Ramona asked, "What's the first thing that comes to mind when you see them?"

Answers:
Possibilities.
Unlimited possibilities.
Creativity with fantastic artistic expression doing what you love.
Passion.
Heart felt happiness.

One actor said, "I didn't get big enough, fast enough to be on Oprah's show."

The group worked together offering up suggestions to help members that felt low-frequency about the pictures, to feel good again with bridging techniques.

Someone said, "I look at things now as experiments instead of only as success or failures."

When a reporter asked LeBron James about his team’s failure last year and not making it to the finals, he said, "We didn't fail last year, we were just learning to win."

Spielberg put himself on the Universal Lot in an office and started "acting as if" he were already a power player and making huge blockbuster films. Eventually his pretending and pre-paving led to his world renowned success as an iconic director.

Mike showed beautiful images of couples together and in love with one another. They were smiling, in tune and blissful in their attraction.  Ramona asked, "What feelings does this bring up for you?"

Many people said, "I wish I had that." and "That looks like it feels so nice" while others wanted to hit the lovers with a truck. The group had a blast talking about these lovers and the law of attraction. They said, "What you see in others is who you are."

"I don't have a relationship but I do put myself in their shoes and think, how fun is this."

"When you see people like that, it is there for you to put yourself into their situation," and "The universe is showing me that soon that will be my experience too."

The number one thing everyone agreed on is, "It's not our place to figure out the "how" and "when" of anything. Our job is to "just be" in the flow and generally enjoy everything around us that is working - for the joy of it."

Ramona shared how she had sent out rockets of desire from her first marriage in order to attract and co-create with Mike.

Someone said, "When we give it up, then we always get it." Meaning, when we give up the need for love or the contradictions for love, then we finally attract it to us easily.

Mike showed the final set of pictures of super models that were thin and in bikini body shape. Some of the beliefs from these pictures evoked lovely conversations among the members.

Someone shared, how she stopped seeing herself in an unattractive, overweight manner and instead began to truly see herself through the eyes and hearts of her close friends and family members that loved her unconditionally. She stopped using her physical eyes and started allowing the heart and love of her close friends to be how she chose to see herself and she's been happy ever since.

"When I loose the weight - it always finds its way back to me. That's why, now I donate any extra pounds to the Universe to redistribute into pure, positive energy."

“We're all spiritual beings first and how important it is to see the God in each of us and allow the Universal energy to radiant from everyone we come in contact with.”

A member shared a lightness technique she used to get lighter in her body, mind and spirit. She cut pictures out of magazines of things that "felt light" to her.
Some examples were, children giggling, sun shining, sunsets and ocean waves cast with diamonds of light in them, smiling children, puppies playing and gorgeous pictures of flowers in all colors blooming forth to share their beauty with the world.

Each image she cut out harmonized her with the pure essence of genuine lightness.

We talked about, not settling or becoming complacent in our jobs. The group shared methods to bring back the passion in our lives and overcome that vanilla sense of numbness with career.

A member simply said, "Don't settle."
other suggestions were:

follow your heart
trust your gut and go out on a limb
activate your passion
take your passion and make it happen
figure out what brings you joy again and do that first
find yourself a passion project for the fun of it
get general with your desires, instead of going too specific
Acknowledge "what is working" instead of all the things that are not working

Mike, Ramona and the members shared these and more techniques and methodology to get the Law of Attraction members back into alignment.

Mike played a short closing Abraham Video Lighten Up

Ramona read a beautiful Abraham quote on having fun.

Abraham's Emotional Grid

Big Thanks to Eddie Conner for taking the notes for tonight's meeting.

Opening / Welcome and New Members introduction

Eddie did a Guided Meditation to activate, brighten and enlighten your Grid.

Ramona opened the meeting by asking Individuals to share their experiences and wins since last months meeting.

Video: Abraham's 9 minute video about the Grid. some of the highlights were,
            - only use emotions that feel good
            - be general
            - it's not your job to fill in the Grid
            - the Universe will fill in the specifics for you
            - everything we do, think and feel is Grid-Making

Ways to strengthen our grids.
- tell a new story
- feeling eager, satisfaction, happy, sincere and excited. These are examples of creating an emotional grid.

General Grids are best.  An example is to focus on anything that makes you feel good.

Ramona directs the group with "We always have a grid about every subject on the planet" and "What we see, feel, and think builds our Grid whether we know it or not"

Whatever thought we think activates a feeling. These feelings activate our Grids and then our Grid fills itself in with whatever we are vibrating. This vibrational output then aligns us with people, places and situations that harmonize us with whatever we're vibrating.

One member thinks of this Grid as a Grid-work of light that emanates and vibrates from our thought-feelings and out into the universe.

For weight, a lot of people use a general emotional Grid to feel light and happier in their bodies. As they focus on things that make them feel good, and feel light in their minds and feelings - their bodies get lighter and happier too. Instead of standing on the scale each day or doing diet portions members just start feeling generally good about everything around them, and they lose weight as a result.

Other tips:      - don't feel guilty about anything you eat
                        - give yourself new direction. New intention about how you want to feel in your life.
                        - pre-pave and intend before you dine.
                        - find someone to co-create your lightness with so you have a vibrational partner to feel good with.

Ramona reminds us that each of us have different beliefs about every subject. She shares a story about a negative person next to her on the airplane while she and Mike
flew back to Burbank for this meeting. She was letting his negativity get under her skin until she focused on how handsome Mike was sitting next to her, doing his Sudoku puzzle.  Ramona realized that she was creating a "Jerk Grid" and made a conscious decision to focus on an "Appreciation Grid." Shortly after she vibrated the irritating passenger out of her
energy field and felt good again.

A member shares, "Everything and anything that comes into my life is to increase my Joy." Coming from this perspective consistently makes her feel good because it helps her see the joy and happiness in everything around her. We vibrate everyone and everything into our lives. There are never coincidences.

Ramona says, "Working with the Grid releases resistance if we stay general." Then asked the group who had a subject matter that felt negative to them.  A member said, "My mother makes me feel negative."

The class discussed how this member could turn her negative feeling grid about her Mom around to something else that felt better. Some of the tips were,
- Send the situation white light for the joy of it
- Visual her mother as whole and healthy by telling herself a new story that felt good to her
- Break up her visitations a little more until she could feel better
- Thank her Mom for being negative, because it helps her daughter set her tone and follow her true calling in life.
- soften old beliefs that no longer serve either of them
- think about moments when Mom was in a good place

The group discusses the fact that it's not about the lady's Mom at all. It's about her vibration. Which lead to a member suggesting to "Celebrate mom's negativity and bless her".

Ramona says, "If we can hold our thoughts purely for 17 seconds we activate our Grids. Then shares that 17 x 4 = 68 seconds.
68 seconds of feeling good without contradicting our feelings is equal to 2,000,000 action hours worth of labor expended.

Mike shares video, "Building Your Emotional Grid" to empower members to building stronger "feel good grids."

The group discusses that there are good grids and there are bad grids. If we focus on negativity for longer than 17 seconds we'll start attracting negative physical experiences. Conversely, as we focus on feel good things for 17 seconds we create a combustion point of energy that instantly activates our inner magnetic, pulling good people, places, and situations to us.

Everyone agrees that emotional bridge building for the joy of it and for the fun of it is the general way to go.

Ramona asks, "What is the Vortex?"

The Vortex is a high-frequency energy center that we enter when we feel goodness to greatness, happy and appreciation and joy. We cannot enter the Vortex if we feel negative emotion, only positive emotions can put us in the Vortex.

Our job is to feel good and to appreciate as much as we can. This activates our "Feel Good Grid" while putting us in the Vortex at the same time.

Mike closes the meeting with a video titled, "Believe in Yourself."

Getting Back Up When You’re Down – Abraham Style

We’ve all been there at some time in our lives.  We feel so “Down” we’re not sure which way is up.  What does Abraham say about how we got there and, more importantly, how we get back up?

When we are down we can have feelings of depression, tiredness, sadness, helplessness, aloneness, feelings of being overwhelmed, and we think about the negative aspects of our lives.  People around us all seem to be negative and bring us further down.  As Abraham would say, we are disconnected from source.

We have the complete power to concentrate on what is right or wrong.   Why do we choose to concentrate on the negative?  Sometimes it is more comfortable just staying where we are out of habit because change is challenging to some.  If we have surrounded ourselves with others who are depressed and have negative attitudes, it is difficult to get ourselves back up and be positive.  And sometimes we just get so busy with life we forget to reconnect with Source Energy.  We need to readily identify when we are down or getting down, and figure out how to get ourselves back up.

But how do we do that?  Since our beliefs are the thoughts we keep thinking, we need to change our habit of thought.  There are several strategies that work.  Think about what’s right in our lives.  Daydream about what we want.  Focus on what we do want instead of what we don’t want.  Do something different that’s positive.  Focus.  Pray.  Ask questions of ourselves, but be sure to ask in the positive.  Instead of asking “Why am I gaining weight?” ask “How can I continue to feel healthy?”  Think about what we are grateful for.   Remember, 17 seconds of pure thought is equivalent to 2000 hours of action.

As Abraham says, even though we may want to move forward in life, we may have one foot on the brakes.  In order to be free, we must learn how to let go.  Release the hurt.  Release the fear.  Refuse to entertain the old pain.  The energy it takes to hang on to the past is holding us back from a new life.  Think about what you would let go of today to improve your frame of mind.

An exercise that works is simply appreciating all that others do for us, no matter how small.  This can change our mental frame from negative to positive.  Saying “thank you” to someone for their kindness (holding a door open for us, etc.) can solicit a “you’re welcome” or a smile to brighten our day.  And the more thankful we are for the kindnesses of others, the more positive our frame of mind becomes.

Reading "Ask & It Is Given" by Abraham-Hicks is helpful because we're taught from childhood that we create our lives through blood, sweat and tears.  This book helps us release that old belief and recreate what we want from a powerful platform.

In it there are several games we can play that help improve our state of mind.  One such game is the “A to Z” game.  Starting with the letter “A” and continuing to “Z”, think of a positive descriptor of ourselves that begins with each letter.

Even during the worst of times there is a bright, loving part of us that’s always available.  It’s called our higher self and it is always available to talk with you and help you.  Some people refer to it as “that little voice on my shoulder (or in my head) that guides me to do the right thing.   Ask your higher self why you feel down.  You might be amazed at what your higher self has to say.  These conversations serve to reconnect us to Source.

For deeper depression, write a story of how we want our life to be.  Put it away and look at it periodically.  See how much progress we have made towards our goal.

Some recent discussions by Abraham explain the concept of an emotional grid.  When feeling down, think about general things that are true, feel good, and are easy to think about.  Then fill in that grid with more specific items that are higher frequency thoughts, feelings and emotions.

In 2003 Abraham offered the following:  “Today I am going to be happy.  I’m going to skip.  I’m going to be glad.  I’m going to smile a lot.  I’m going to be easy.  I’m going to count my blessings.  I’m going to look for reasons to feel good.  I’m going to dig up positive things from the past.  I’m going to look for positive things where I stand.  I’m going to look for positive things in the future.  It is my natural state to be a happy person.  It’s natural for me to love and to laugh.  This is what is most natural for me.  I am a happy person.”

The closing video was Joyous Rampage.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at SpiritWorks Center for Spiritual Living.  The topic will be “A Deeper Look Into Abraham’s Emotional Grid”.
