Abraham's Emotional Grid

Big Thanks to Eddie Conner for taking the notes for tonight's meeting.

Opening / Welcome and New Members introduction

Eddie did a Guided Meditation to activate, brighten and enlighten your Grid.

Ramona opened the meeting by asking Individuals to share their experiences and wins since last months meeting.

Video: Abraham's 9 minute video about the Grid. some of the highlights were,
            - only use emotions that feel good
            - be general
            - it's not your job to fill in the Grid
            - the Universe will fill in the specifics for you
            - everything we do, think and feel is Grid-Making

Ways to strengthen our grids.
- tell a new story
- feeling eager, satisfaction, happy, sincere and excited. These are examples of creating an emotional grid.

General Grids are best.  An example is to focus on anything that makes you feel good.

Ramona directs the group with "We always have a grid about every subject on the planet" and "What we see, feel, and think builds our Grid whether we know it or not"

Whatever thought we think activates a feeling. These feelings activate our Grids and then our Grid fills itself in with whatever we are vibrating. This vibrational output then aligns us with people, places and situations that harmonize us with whatever we're vibrating.

One member thinks of this Grid as a Grid-work of light that emanates and vibrates from our thought-feelings and out into the universe.

For weight, a lot of people use a general emotional Grid to feel light and happier in their bodies. As they focus on things that make them feel good, and feel light in their minds and feelings - their bodies get lighter and happier too. Instead of standing on the scale each day or doing diet portions members just start feeling generally good about everything around them, and they lose weight as a result.

Other tips:      - don't feel guilty about anything you eat
                        - give yourself new direction. New intention about how you want to feel in your life.
                        - pre-pave and intend before you dine.
                        - find someone to co-create your lightness with so you have a vibrational partner to feel good with.

Ramona reminds us that each of us have different beliefs about every subject. She shares a story about a negative person next to her on the airplane while she and Mike
flew back to Burbank for this meeting. She was letting his negativity get under her skin until she focused on how handsome Mike was sitting next to her, doing his Sudoku puzzle.  Ramona realized that she was creating a "Jerk Grid" and made a conscious decision to focus on an "Appreciation Grid." Shortly after she vibrated the irritating passenger out of her
energy field and felt good again.

A member shares, "Everything and anything that comes into my life is to increase my Joy." Coming from this perspective consistently makes her feel good because it helps her see the joy and happiness in everything around her. We vibrate everyone and everything into our lives. There are never coincidences.

Ramona says, "Working with the Grid releases resistance if we stay general." Then asked the group who had a subject matter that felt negative to them.  A member said, "My mother makes me feel negative."

The class discussed how this member could turn her negative feeling grid about her Mom around to something else that felt better. Some of the tips were,
- Send the situation white light for the joy of it
- Visual her mother as whole and healthy by telling herself a new story that felt good to her
- Break up her visitations a little more until she could feel better
- Thank her Mom for being negative, because it helps her daughter set her tone and follow her true calling in life.
- soften old beliefs that no longer serve either of them
- think about moments when Mom was in a good place

The group discusses the fact that it's not about the lady's Mom at all. It's about her vibration. Which lead to a member suggesting to "Celebrate mom's negativity and bless her".

Ramona says, "If we can hold our thoughts purely for 17 seconds we activate our Grids. Then shares that 17 x 4 = 68 seconds.
68 seconds of feeling good without contradicting our feelings is equal to 2,000,000 action hours worth of labor expended.

Mike shares video, "Building Your Emotional Grid" to empower members to building stronger "feel good grids."

The group discusses that there are good grids and there are bad grids. If we focus on negativity for longer than 17 seconds we'll start attracting negative physical experiences. Conversely, as we focus on feel good things for 17 seconds we create a combustion point of energy that instantly activates our inner magnetic, pulling good people, places, and situations to us.

Everyone agrees that emotional bridge building for the joy of it and for the fun of it is the general way to go.

Ramona asks, "What is the Vortex?"

The Vortex is a high-frequency energy center that we enter when we feel goodness to greatness, happy and appreciation and joy. We cannot enter the Vortex if we feel negative emotion, only positive emotions can put us in the Vortex.

Our job is to feel good and to appreciate as much as we can. This activates our "Feel Good Grid" while putting us in the Vortex at the same time.

Mike closes the meeting with a video titled, "Believe in Yourself."

Getting Back Up When You’re Down – Abraham Style

We’ve all been there at some time in our lives.  We feel so “Down” we’re not sure which way is up.  What does Abraham say about how we got there and, more importantly, how we get back up?

When we are down we can have feelings of depression, tiredness, sadness, helplessness, aloneness, feelings of being overwhelmed, and we think about the negative aspects of our lives.  People around us all seem to be negative and bring us further down.  As Abraham would say, we are disconnected from source.

We have the complete power to concentrate on what is right or wrong.   Why do we choose to concentrate on the negative?  Sometimes it is more comfortable just staying where we are out of habit because change is challenging to some.  If we have surrounded ourselves with others who are depressed and have negative attitudes, it is difficult to get ourselves back up and be positive.  And sometimes we just get so busy with life we forget to reconnect with Source Energy.  We need to readily identify when we are down or getting down, and figure out how to get ourselves back up.

But how do we do that?  Since our beliefs are the thoughts we keep thinking, we need to change our habit of thought.  There are several strategies that work.  Think about what’s right in our lives.  Daydream about what we want.  Focus on what we do want instead of what we don’t want.  Do something different that’s positive.  Focus.  Pray.  Ask questions of ourselves, but be sure to ask in the positive.  Instead of asking “Why am I gaining weight?” ask “How can I continue to feel healthy?”  Think about what we are grateful for.   Remember, 17 seconds of pure thought is equivalent to 2000 hours of action.

As Abraham says, even though we may want to move forward in life, we may have one foot on the brakes.  In order to be free, we must learn how to let go.  Release the hurt.  Release the fear.  Refuse to entertain the old pain.  The energy it takes to hang on to the past is holding us back from a new life.  Think about what you would let go of today to improve your frame of mind.

An exercise that works is simply appreciating all that others do for us, no matter how small.  This can change our mental frame from negative to positive.  Saying “thank you” to someone for their kindness (holding a door open for us, etc.) can solicit a “you’re welcome” or a smile to brighten our day.  And the more thankful we are for the kindnesses of others, the more positive our frame of mind becomes.

Reading "Ask & It Is Given" by Abraham-Hicks is helpful because we're taught from childhood that we create our lives through blood, sweat and tears.  This book helps us release that old belief and recreate what we want from a powerful platform.

In it there are several games we can play that help improve our state of mind.  One such game is the “A to Z” game.  Starting with the letter “A” and continuing to “Z”, think of a positive descriptor of ourselves that begins with each letter.

Even during the worst of times there is a bright, loving part of us that’s always available.  It’s called our higher self and it is always available to talk with you and help you.  Some people refer to it as “that little voice on my shoulder (or in my head) that guides me to do the right thing.   Ask your higher self why you feel down.  You might be amazed at what your higher self has to say.  These conversations serve to reconnect us to Source.

For deeper depression, write a story of how we want our life to be.  Put it away and look at it periodically.  See how much progress we have made towards our goal.

Some recent discussions by Abraham explain the concept of an emotional grid.  When feeling down, think about general things that are true, feel good, and are easy to think about.  Then fill in that grid with more specific items that are higher frequency thoughts, feelings and emotions.

In 2003 Abraham offered the following:  “Today I am going to be happy.  I’m going to skip.  I’m going to be glad.  I’m going to smile a lot.  I’m going to be easy.  I’m going to count my blessings.  I’m going to look for reasons to feel good.  I’m going to dig up positive things from the past.  I’m going to look for positive things where I stand.  I’m going to look for positive things in the future.  It is my natural state to be a happy person.  It’s natural for me to love and to laugh.  This is what is most natural for me.  I am a happy person.”

The closing video was Joyous Rampage.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at SpiritWorks Center for Spiritual Living.  The topic will be “A Deeper Look Into Abraham’s Emotional Grid”.

Love and Appreciation - featuring Eddie Conner

GREETINGS AND WELCOME

GUIDED MEDITATION

Eddie opened with a Love and Appreciation guided meditation. This visualization focused on the attendees pouring light to them, through them and to Mike and Ramona in New Jersey.

After the meditation the group shared their wins since our last Meet Up. Some wins included booking TV Pilots, winning lottery tickets and other successes since February.

THE Q&A LED TO OUR MAIN TOPICS

ALIGNING WITH THE DIVINE
Most of us are in a hurry and believe that we have to stop everything we’re doing to get centered. The truth is, all we need to do is take one minute at a time and start to realign with the divine aspects of ourselves.

Counting our blessings, the art of appreciation and feeling good for the joy of it are a few ways we can take a minute to realign with the divine.

FIVE-MINUTE ME-CATIONS
M-E is an acronym for Magnificent Energy. All humans are magnificent energy first and physical second. Anything that makes us feel amazing, happy or excited are ways to grab our magnificent energy and turn it into little get-a-ways for our soul.

Once we’ve learned how to hold one minute of divine alignment, it’s fun to take the time out of our busy lives to take Five Minute ME-Cations to achieve harmony with our heart's desires.

THE UNIVERSE SPEAKS AN EMOTIONAL LANGUAGE
The Universe doesn’t communicate with us with words, but with feelings and energy. It’s our responsibility to learn to speak a pure, positive feeling language inside our bodies that harmonizes with the essence of our heart’s desires.

The more pure our thought-feelings are the less likely we are to contradict our desires.

With non-contradicted free desires the Universe can bring our good to us faster.

2012 - A New Beginning

After a welcome from Ramona and an inspirational meditation from Eddie Conner, Ramona asked new members to introduce themselves and requested updates from those who have had recent successes with the Law of Attraction.

Author Beverly Collins read her poem “Next” which set the theme for the evening’s topic:

2012 – A New Beginning

Every year many people make New Year’s resolutions with every intention of keeping them throughout the year. Ramona asked “It’s been 10 days. How’s it working for you?” Most people have a hard time making and keeping New Year’s resolutions. Tonight’s meeting included discussion of what goes wrong with resolutions and suggestions for alternative ways of making the changes we desire.

We showed an opening video “The Key to Effortless Manifestation.”

In lieu of making traditional resolutions, members have had success with the following techniques:
·         Set up 12 shifts – one per month. Concentrate on shift one the first month and keep it going the second month while you start shift two. Then in month three keep the first two going as you start shift three, etc.
·         Set a theme for the year (rather than specific resolutions such as “I will not…”)
·         Make sure it feels good and will offer a sense of accomplishment.
·         Have a pure intention and focus your attention purely.
·         Use guided, deliberate positive thoughts for what you want.

Making and breaking resolutions can be frustrating because we are trying to better ourselves and traditional methods do not work. How can we change our habits to achieve the results we desire?
·         Marguerite Manning suggests that on our birthdays, for 12 hours before and after our time of birth, we set our intentions for the next year. That is the most powerful time for setting intentions.
·         Make it fun.
·         Writing it down, especially in blue ink, places it into our subconscious.
·         Prepare a vision board for intentions.
·         Envision a blank canvas as a starting place instead of setting goals.
·         Expect wonderful things to happen and they will.
·         Overcome each negative thought with five positive ones.
·         Use affirmations of desired results.
·         Use whatever tools help you send rockets of desire.

Understanding the areas of resistance is a big first step in getting our minds wrapped around the factors that keep us from changing for the better.  Here are some areas of resistance the group provided from their experience:
·         Believing the rules set by others. Many times these rules are “family rules” that go back five generations. We need to assess whether they still pertain to us.
·         We need to break our habits which are really neural patterns that must be changed.
·         What really stops us is “ourselves.”

The group also provided the following suggestions to break resistant habits:
·         Listen to Abraham meditation CD at bedtime and in the morning. If you go to sleep in the vortex you will wake up in the vortex.
·         Set a pure intention before meditation.
·         Pre-pave our desires.
·         Tell a new story.
·         Use vibratory vocabulary.
·         Do not give attention to the negatives.
·         Simply put your mind at peace; then move up in steps to exuberance.
·         Be hopeful and trust the process.
·         Stop lying to yourself; instead, honor yourself consistently.
·         Giddy, joyful anticipation vibrates out the resistance.
·         Remember your heart has a brain. Feeling our way through things changes old habits.

Remember, there is nothing on our path we cannot change. We choose which thoughts, and therefore “things”, to activate, and which ones to leave dormant. We can feel relaxed, placid, calm, peaceful, steady and thoughtful and still attract greatness.

Mastermind

Ramona welcomed all the new members and guests.

Eddie Conner provided another inspiring and motivational meditation.

Ramona asked for updates from members and guests. There are a lot of great things happening among the members.

Barbara Schiffman has a new ebook available on Amazon.com. It’s called "Living in Balance for Boomers: Secrets to Making the Most of the Second Half of Life." It helps tune your body, mind, heart and soul using the Four Elements (Earth, Air, Water and Fire) as life balance metaphors and energy tools. The direct link to it on Amazon (where purchase price is currently only $3.99!) is: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006IKEJWG.

The opening video was “You Are So Close”.

The evening’s topic was Mastermind where attendees ask any question they have on their minds and the group provides answers from their experience. Questiones raised and answers provided were:

How do you clarify or focus on what you want? Is there a process for doing it well?
·         Don’t focus on the use of processes – go directly to what you want and concentrate your thoughts on that. For example, if you want a day spa, think about how lovely and luxurious you will feel being pampered.
·         Remember there is a difference between owning a spa and attending one.

How can the Law of Attraction be used to fight or counteract procrastination?
·         Fighting procrastination merely raises resistance levels. Enjoy it instead by doing something else. That could take the guilt away from it.
·         Find a different word to describe the project you wish to procrastinate. For example, one member uses the term “nourish” to describe actions she would rather put off but cannot. So instead she will go to work to nourish her clients, or nourish her house by cleaning it.
·         Accept that there is no “must’ or “should”. Wait for when the job has to be done to do it. Every time the Universe procrastinates it is because it’s not time for it to be done yet. Its time will come.
·         Find a new word for procrastination that feels good to you.

How do you deal with negative people?
·         Look for any redeeming qualities in that person.
·         Vibrate that you like them as a person.
·         Shift your expectation of them from the negative to the positive. Think about positive things they did in the past.
·         Prepare yourself for your next meeting with them.
·         Expect to have a good time creating and communicating without concern for the end result.
·         Maintain a high vibration and make them rise to your level. Never drop to theirs.

From childhood memories we sometimes feel we are not good enough, we expect rejection and feel we cannot get anything right. How can we change that?
·         Let go of the rejection
·         Focus on what you want.
·         Visualize the success you want and deserve.

How can I stop seeing the absence of what I want to manifest?
·         Visualize it being done.
·         Visualize it as a film being played before you.

When having trouble focusing on exactly what you need, what can you do?
·         You do not need to know exactly what the end result will be.
·         Just enjoy the process.
·         Your vibration will let you know the next step.
·         Just let go.
·         Remember there are no mistakes. Everything will just line up as it should.

The closing video was “Get Happy

Ramona closed the meeting with affirmations for 2012. As a group we all repeated the following affirmations.
·         In 2012, I am surrounded by loving, caring people in my life.
·         In 2012, every cell in my body vibrates with energy and health.
·         In 2012, I am successful in whatever I do.
·         In 202, I am a wonderful being. There is nothing I cannot achieve.

AND SO IT IS!

May everyone enjoy the best holiday season and see you in the new year.

Next meeting will be Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
