The Law of Allowing

Eddie Conner (www.eddieconner.com) took the group through a wonderful guided meditation that set the stage for the meeting. His meditation focused on Vibrating, Appreciating and Positively Believing.

We reviewed the key points from the prior meeting on Deliberate Creation.

            Maintain a high vibration.
            Strengthen your focus.
            Appreciate what you want.
            Positively believe you will get it.
            Ramp up your desires.
            Tell a story about how it feels to have it.
            Get into the vortex.

Mike and Ramona performed a two-part skit about wanting to return to a spa they attended several years ago. The first part portrayed how they would have looked at the possibility Before Law of Attraction (BLOA). The second skit showed how they would manifest the experience by Vibrating, Appreciating and Positively Believing they will get it After Law of Attraction (ALOA). The audience gave them a standing ovation. (Not really, but it made us feel good just to say it.)

Focusing on the Law of Allowing we viewed a video “Happy Allowing – Part 1”, which can be found at Happy Allowing Video.  The following are some of the ideas discussed by the group:
  • Abraham’s comment “Are you enjoying the sensation of unfulfilled desires?” 
  • What does it mean to be “Managed by the Manager”?
  • It’s not a matter of luck. It’s a matter of getting resistance out of the way.
  • Allowing is having the feeling of well being before having the evidence.
  • You just have to focus until you line up with what you want.

We discussed the use of a focus wheel process to help us change our vibrational alignment with any subject, whether it is a job we don’t like, a bodily condition, or anything with which we are not in alignment. A great focus wheel process video can be viewed at Focus Wheel Video.

Abraham says “be patiently impatient”. We need to keep defining our desires but we don’t want to start keeping score of the manifestations. When we do we contradict our pure vibration.

When you desire with BELIEF, it is happening.
When you desire with HOPE, it happens slower
When you desire with DOUBT, you might as well think about something else.
 
Ellen shared a quote from Jim Rohn. “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much!”

Abraham’s view is when we live off the “list” that someone else has prepared for us, we need to remember this is their list which makes them feel good.  WE NEED TO MAKE OUR OWN LIST. 

It’s the same message. All we have to do is remember the message.

The Law of Deliberate Creation

Eddie Conner (www.eddieconner.com) took the group through a wonderful guided meditation that cleansed our chakras and set the stage for the meeting.

Mike reviewed the key points from the prior meeting on the first law of attraction – like attracts like.

1.       Eliminate blockages. Use the basket and balloon exercise.
2.      Make a list of what we want and keep it with us. State it in positive terms.
3.      Set our vibrations to being joyous and happy.

Ramona asked the group to share how they felt after freeing the blockages at the prior meeting. The group shared some fantastic Abraham experiences.

We viewed an Abraham video “Deliberate Creation and Emotional Guidance” in which Esther describes us as magnets and raises the question “What do we attract?” Abraham says we have a partner in the life experience, a non-physical inner being that speaks to us in the form of our emotions – listen to them. She recommends that we see ourselves through our own eyes and not let others reflect their vision of us back to us through their eyes and words. Esther discusses “segment intending” which is to pause many times during the day and remind ourselves what we want from life experience. Segment intending can also assist us in getting through situations we are expecting by pre-paving the way we want to see it unfold.

Since the purpose of life is to be joyous and happy, what matters is finding a reason to feel good right now. We viewed another Abraham video “Find Any Reason to Feel Good”. Esther suggests that when things just seem to be going the wrong way for us, don’t focus on what’s going wrong. In order to change the things that are going wrong in our lives, we must first change our vibrations. The first step is to “start small” by focusing our attention on the little things. Find something to feel good about – a flower, music, anything that makes us feel good. That will get our vibrations back on the right path. From there we can build and eventually change the things that are going wrong and make them right.

The First Law of Attraction - Like Attracts Like

Eddie Conner (www.eddieconner.com) introduced the hosts and took the group through a wonderful guided meditation that cleansed our chakras and set the stage for the meeting.

Mike briefly reviewed the laws of attraction (see previous post) and the group viewed the opening video of Esther Hicks explaining the Laws of Attraction.   Esther Hicks Video

Ramona asked the group if they were living the life they dreamed of. And, if not, she suggested we work together to get on the path to our dreams. The evening’s exercises and discussions were designed to find out what we want, what’s blocking us from getting it, and how to set and maintain a happy, joyful vibration.

Blockages
Ramona read a quote from Abraham that talks about relationships, but in reality relates to everything we want in life. Relationships I Don't Want, Clarify Those I Do Want... Whenever you know what you do not want, you always know more clearly what you do want. So in a disturbing moment of awareness of another person's undesirable situation, give your undivided attention to the idea of improvement that has hatched from your interaction /observation. And as you learn to do that, not only will you be of increasing value to others, but you will see how your relationships with others adds immeasurably to your own becoming.        --- Abraham

The first exercise is designed to get rid of blockages that keep us from getting what we want. These are the memories that haunt us and seem to be ever present in our minds, keeping us from thinking of the things we want. It could be something from our childhood such as a disparaging comment made by a parent, teacher or friend, or an experience with a step-parent, ex-lover or co-worker. Since we attract what we think, we need to think about what we want without these bad memories taking up space in our minds. Ramona took us through the following visualization.

Close your eyes. Think of the memory that haunts you the most – the teacher, relative, ex-friend, lover, coworker – and do the following visualization. Get comfortable and close your eyes. Picture a large basket with a handle. It can be wicker, willow, created by the fairies of the universe, whatever kind of beautiful basket you desire. Place the haunting memory into the basket and say “You have haunted me for years…. I have learned the lesson you came to teach….. You are no longer of service to me..…  You need to leave me now.” Visualize a bunch of brightly colored helium filled balloons-picture every color of the rainbow and even colors that don’t yet exist. Tie this glorious bunch of balloons to your basket. Now say goodbye to the basket and the memory as you release it from your grasp. Watch it rise up into the sky, gently pushed by the breeze, disappearing forever. Now FEEL the lightness and freedom because you have released that memory as you slowly come out of the visualization.

If the memory returns, do this visualization again. Once that memory has been released, pick the next memory that haunts you. Keep doing this until you are free from all bad memories.

Want List
Mike suggested we list the things we want in life. Over time, as we think of the things we want, we should add them to the list and keep the list with us. It will serve as a good reminder of what we should be thinking about. The “wants” should be stated in positive terms without contradictions. There will be more work on this aspect in our next meeting. 

Vibration
Ramona discussed how to set and keep our vibration high, fast and pure. Whatever we think about becomes our vibration. The more we think about it, the stronger the thought becomes. At full strength it becomes a belief. We need to make sure our beliefs are in harmony with our instincts. Our emotions can be the gauge to determine if our beliefs are in the right vibration.

The Laws of Attraction

Welcome to our MeetUp on the Laws of Attraction. We hope you will find the sessions helpful and educational. You may also meet new like-minded friends. Here is the outline to guide us through the first few sessions.

  • Leave it to the Universe to get it for you
  • Use your intuition
  • Let the Universe determine the timing
  • Let the Universe determine the manner in which you will get it
  • Most important - GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY.
